Course Description:

Want to learn a cool new snowboard activity that you can use with students? Want to share an activity you have found useful when working with real students? Want to improve your teaching skills with tips and feedback? If so, come join us a for a day of collaborative fun while we nerd out on snowboard instructing.

Learning Outcomes from this Clinic:

Skill Development: Participants will demonstrate improved snowboarding techniques through guided practice and feedback, enabling them to effectively teach these skills to their students.
Activity Implementation: Participants will design and share a creative snowboard activity that promotes engagement and learning, tailored to various skill levels among students.
Teaching Strategies: Participants will explore and apply various instructional strategies to enhance their teaching effectiveness, including differentiated instruction and active learning techniques.
Collaboration and Networking: Participants will collaborate with peers to exchange ideas, resources, and best practices in snowboard instruction, fostering a supportive teaching community.
Confidence Building: Participants will gain confidence in their snowboarding skills and teaching abilities, empowering them to lead effective instructional sessions for their students.

These outcomes aim to enhance both the technical and pedagogical aspects of snowboard instruction, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
