Course Description:
This movement analysis clinic will develop your eye for analyzing skiing mechanics and movement patterns across varying terrain and conditions. Through guided observation sessions and hands-on practice, you’ll learn to quickly identify key movement patterns that impact ski performance. This clinic combines real-time feedback, and structured observation frameworks to help you build confidence in movement analysis and coaching applications.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Demonstrate ability to identify and analyze fundamental movement patterns in alpine skiing including stance, balance, edging, pressure control, and rotation
2. Apply systematic observation methods to assess skiing mechanics across different skill levels and tactical choices
3. Develop clear, actionable feedback strategies based on movement analysis to improve student performance

This clinic is only for Montana ski instructors, it is sponsored and supported by Montana Ski Areas Association.
