In Memory of Franklin Bradshaw

Franklin was a PSIA member for many years and taught skiing at Ski Acres and Stevens Pass before moving on to coaching and being active in the racing world (he was a volunteer on the slopes for the Vancouver Olympics, yearly at the Lake Louise downhill race).  The past few years he has been very active in hiking, mountaineering and climbing — finishing his 500th climb in Columbia in December. He passed away on January 18th in a mountaineering accident. There is quite a bit of information on the web:

Franklin was dedicated to sharing his love of the outdoors with others and was committed to pass that passion on to the next generation.
