Dave Beckwith takes position in Killington, VT

This is the email from Dave Beckwith sent to friends and colleagues on August 11, 2010:

Dear PSIA/AASI friends,

It is with mixed emotions that I am informing you that I have resigned my position as Snow Sports Director for the Summit Learning Center. I have been offered a terrific opportunity on the east coast. This fall I will be stepping into the Snow Sports School Director Position for Killington/Pico located in Vermont. This is a homecoming of sorts for me. I grew up in New England and this move puts me closer to family. It also allows me an opportunity to throw my hat into the destination resort market.

I have greatly enjoyed my time here in the NW. I am proud of our successes and the trajectory of our division. Most difficult for me is that I am leaving behind some great friends and some wonderful memories. The people are what have made PSIA-NW, The Summit, and the Snowsports industry in the NW great these past 7 years. I am proud to have had the opportunity to work with each of you.

Be sure to look me up if you find yourself in the northeast. I wish you the best of luck in 2010-2011.
